I am a Humanistic Integrative Therapist, which means I believe in people‘s capacity for healing and growth. I draw on a variety of models, including Gestalt, Person-centred and Transactional Analysis, working in a way that meets each person‘s individual needs.
I offer a non-judgemental, empathic space in which we can build a relationship built on warmth and trust. I will be led by what you want to bring at a pace that works for you. I will meet you with compassion, inviting a here-and-now exploration of your feelings, thoughts and experiences so that you can gain clarity over your experiences and work towards making the changes you want to make.
I know, from experience, that therapy can be a step towards real change. I believe that, given the right conditions, each of us possesses the inner ability to expand our awareness and realise our true potential.
I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics.
I hold a degree in music and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Working as a teacher and housemistress in schools for 10 years, I became increasingly passionate about the pastoral side, which ultimately led me to pursue my training as a therapist.
